1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use EveLynk. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are 18 or older and able to enter into a binding contract. Organizations must act through an authorized representative.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Some profile fields (such as location) are permanent once set.
- You may sign in using email and password or a supported third-party sign-in (such as Google). You may add a password to a third-party account at any time.
- You may deactivate your account (hiding your profile and content) or request permanent deletion. Deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period, during which logging in cancels the deletion.
3. The Platform
EveLynk lets individuals discover events, follow communities, register for and buy tickets, share posts and memories, and chat. It lets verified organizations create and manage free and paid events, sell tickets, and manage gate staff. Features may change, and some features depend on eligibility, verification, or availability.
4. User Content
- You retain ownership of the content you create (posts, images, captions, comments, event details, memories).
- You grant EveLynk a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content as needed to operate and promote the Platform, including on public web pages for content you mark public.
- You are responsible for your content. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including images of other people, and that your content does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law.
- You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, sexual or abusive, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or that sexualizes or endangers minors. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
5. Events, Tickets & Registrations
5.1 For attendees
- Registering for a free event or buying a ticket creates a registration tied to your account and a unique QR code used for entry.
- Ticket availability is limited by event capacity and ticket tiers. Reservations are held only for a limited time during checkout; if payment is not completed, the reservation is released.
- Your QR code is your ticket. Do not share it - anyone who presents it may be admitted in your place, and each ticket admits entry only once.
5.2 For organizers
- Only verified organizations may publish events. To sell paid tickets, an organizer must also complete payout (KYC) setup with our payment partner.
- Organizers are solely responsible for their events - including delivery, accuracy of listings, safety, legal compliance, permits, and communications with attendees. EveLynk is a technology platform and is not the organizer, host, or seller of any event.
- Organizers must honor published event details and applicable consumer-protection law.
6. Payments, Fees, Refunds & Settlement
6.1 Payments
Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. Ticket prices are set by organizers. A convenience fee may be added at checkout and is disclosed before you pay. Payment gateway, banking, tax, or other third-party charges may apply where applicable.
6.2 Platform fee
EveLynk charges organizers no platform fee to create events or sell tickets. EveLynk's revenue comes from the convenience fee where applicable and from other services described from time to time.
6.3 Escrow & settlement
For paid events, ticket revenue (less applicable fees) is held and released to the organizer after the event, subject to our verification and settlement process. Settlement may depend on a minimum proportion of attendees being verified at the gate. If settlement conditions are not met, amounts may be refunded to attendees.
6.4 Refunds - attendee cancellation
If you cancel a ticket you bought, the refund follows this graduated schedule based on time before the event start:
- 7 days or more before the event: 90% of the ticket price is refunded.
- 3 to 7 days before the event: 75% of the ticket price is refunded.
- 24 hours to 3 days before the event: 50% of the ticket price is refunded.
- Less than 24 hours before the event: cancellation is closed and no refund is available.
Cancellation closes 24 hours before the event. The convenience fee is non-refundable on attendee-initiated cancellations. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5-7 business days.
6.5 Refunds - event cancellation
If an organizer or EveLynk cancels an event, affected attendees receive a full refund (ticket price and convenience fee), processed automatically to the original payment method.
6.6 Free events
Free registrations can be cancelled to free up your spot, subject to the cancellation cutoff. No payment is involved.
7. Gate Staff & Scanner App
Organizers may grant check-in access to individual users, who use the EveLynk Scanner app with their own EveLynk accounts. Gate staff may scan and verify attendee QR codes only for events they are authorized for, and only for legitimate entry management. Access can be revoked by the organizer at any time and takes effect immediately.
8. Organization Verification
Verification may require an official organization email, documents, an authorization letter from an authorized representative, or support-assisted verification. We may approve, reject, or revoke verification at our discretion, and may withdraw verification if information is found to be false. Verification does not constitute an endorsement of any organization or event by EveLynk.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- break any law or infringe anyone's rights;
- upload harmful, deceptive, infringing, hateful, sexual, or abusive content, or anything endangering minors;
- resell tickets in violation of an organizer's terms or applicable law, or engage in fraud, chargeback abuse, or ticket duplication;
- scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or attempt to bypass the security or rate limits of the Platform;
- impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
- misuse the Scanner app or attempt to verify tickets you are not authorized to verify.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement.
10. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its software, design, logos, and trademarks, is owned by EveLynk and protected by law. Except for your own content, nothing in this Agreement grants you rights to our intellectual property.
11. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, EveLynk disclaims all warranties, express or implied. EveLynk does not organize, host, endorse, or guarantee any event and is not responsible for an organizer's acts, omissions, cancellations, or the conduct of attendees. Your dealings with organizers and other users are between you and them.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EveLynk and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to EveLynk in the three months before the claim, or ₹1,000.
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EveLynk from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your content, your events, your use of the Platform, or your breach of this Agreement or the law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach this Agreement or the law, or to protect the Platform and its users.
15. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing Law & Disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh for any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under local law.
