You’re in control of your data. Here’s how deletion works, what’s removed, and what we’re required to keep under Indian law.
You request deletion
From inside the app or by email. Your account is immediately scheduled for permanent deletion.
30-day grace period
Change your mind? Simply log in during this window and your account is fully restored - no email required.
Permanent deletion
After 30 days your personal data is permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymised. The action cannot be reversed.

If you’re signed in on your phone, these five taps do it. The whole thing takes about a minute.
- 01Open the EveLynk app on your Android device.
- 02Sign in to your account if you’re not already signed in.
- 03Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- 04Tap Delete account.
- 05Confirm your decision when prompted.
What happens to your data
Deleted, and what we must keep.
Most of your data is permanently erased after the grace period. A small set of records is retained because Indian tax, accounting, and consumer protection law require it.
Permanently deleted
After 30 days, the following is deleted or irreversibly anonymised:
- Your profile information (name, photo, bio, location)
- Your account credentials
- Your posts, comments, images, and other user-generated content
- Your chat messages and conversation history
- Your event registrations and ticket data (except as noted)
- Your device identifiers and session tokens
- Your followers, followings, and social graph data
Retained by law
Kept in a restricted-access financial archive, not used for anything except legal compliance:
- Transaction records, payment identifiers, and invoices
- For organisers: PAN, bank/UPI details, and settlement history (tax reporting)
- Refund records and dispute resolution history
- Communications required as part of a legal proceeding, if any
If you can’t sign in
Request deletion by email.
Lost access to the app? Send us an email. We’ll verify your identity, process the request within 30 days, and confirm completion by email.
